HTC HD2 will be receiving an official free upgrade to Windows Mobile 7 once it is out in Q4 2010. This makes sense because HD2 is the first phone which meets all the hardware chassis requirements laid out by Microsoft for a phone which will be powered by Windows Mobile 7, including support for multi-touch through its massive 4.3’’ capacitive display.

Nexus One by HTC, aka the Google Phone, is expected to become officially available and to go on sale starting with January 5, 2010. This is the launch date that rumors brought forth before, and it seems that the final confirmation is almost here. Google already sent out invites to a press conference regarding the Android platform, and a wide range of unofficial details already emerged into the wild, not only suggesting that January 5 is the lucky day for enthusiasts, but also unveiling details on the price tag of the device.

Acer launched in October 2009 its latest flagship Windows Mobile powered smartphone, the Acer S200 neoTouch. The neoTouch features a large 3.8-inch  display that offers an impressive 800 x 480 pixel (WVGA) resolution. The thin slab shaped device offers a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with flash, HSDPA or HSUPA data (depending on region), and Qualcomm's sizzling 1GHz Snapdragon processor.

TAOYUAN, Taiwan – November 4, 2009 – Today, HTC Corporation chief executive officer, Peter Chou, joined Microsoft Corp. chief executive officer, Steve Ballmer and Harvey Chang, chief executive officer of Taiwan Mobile to announce the availability of the highly anticipated HD2 in Europe and Taiwan. HTC and Microsoft also announced that the HD2 would be available in the United States with a major US carrier in early 2010.

The new version will bring some  "nice" features like the left/right scrolling using your finger. The slide effect will make the user experience more pleasant and easier also.

As the current Bluetooth tech aka Bluetooth 2.0, was becoming less useful with the advent of multimedia-rich mobile
devices, the Bluetooth SIG or Special Interest Group was working on a new version previously called Bluetooth UWB.
And now it is expected to be launched on 21st of this month.
